Specialisation

• Over 25 years of varied experience in the mineral exploration industry.
• Focus on program management, project evaluation/due diligence and identifying commercial opportunities.
• Key member of the BHP Minerals team involved in the discovery and development of the Eloise Cu-Au and world-class Cannington Ag-Pb-Zn deposits in the Mount Isa Inlier.
• Experience of working in a variety of the world's most important metallogenic terranes; Mt Isa, West Australian Goldfields, Abitibi Belt, Lachlan Fold Belt, Carajas
• Specific knowledge of Iron Oxide Copper Gold, Broken Hill Type, mesothermal and epithermal gold and other precious and base metal mineralisation styles.
• Independent geological reporting and familiarity with NI43-101 reporting.

Expertise

• All facets of program management from green fields through to advanced project/pre feasibility.
• Project and property evaluations and due diligence.
• Mineral deposit interpretation and modeling for wide range of mineralisation styles particularly IOCG, BHT, Lode Gold and Intrusive Related Cu-Au deposits.
• GIS-based data integration and target ranking.
• Independent geological reporting for prospectuses and NI43-101 reports.

• Provided full project management to Canadian major for base metal exploration in Eastern Australia .
• Project generation and project management of base metal programs for Japanese metals company in Australia .
• Evaluation and independent reporting on base metal and U projects in Mongolia and Phillipines for Canadian exploration company.
• Evaluation of base metal projects and opportunities in South Korea for Canadian exploration company.
• Independent Geologist's report for Cloncurry Metals prospectus.

Qualifications

• MSc. in Mineral Exploration from Imperial College , London .
• BSc.(Hons) from University of Witwatersrand , South Africa .
• Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists.
• Member of AusIMM.
