Specialisation

• Over 10 years geophysical experience in mineral exploration and environmental applications working in Government and Industry.
• Recently lead the Qld Geological Survey geophysics program. Duties included the coordination of geophysical data acquisition, analysis and interpretation of geophysical data (specifically magnetic, radiometric, electromagnetic, gravity and hyperspectral data) to support regional mapping teams as well as the generation of products to assist the exploration community.
• Experience in the application and interpretation of geophysical methods for hydrological studies (with a focus on salinity).

Expertise

• Broad based geophysical experience including field acquisition, QA/QC, data processing, interpretation and modelling.
• Integration of geophysical datasets with geological, hydrological and remotely sensed data (including hyperspectral) for target generation.
• Regional interpretation
• 2D and 3D visualisation, GIS, data and image processing

Recent Projects

• Historical geophysical data compilation, assessment and target identification at project scale.
• Planning and coordination of the Qld Government regional geophysical acquisition program.
• Regional 3D modelling and interpretation project in the Drummond Basin .
•   Identification and subsequent modelling (depth to magnetic source, edge detection 'worming' and 2D profile models) of Restricted Areas in NW Qld, including data compilation GIS packages.
