- Geophysicist with over 25 years experience in mineral and coal deposit exploration and evaluation.
- Experience throughout Australia and overseas in exploration and evaluation for a range of commodities, including base and precious metals, sulphide-nickel, porphyry copper-gold, iron ore, bauxite, uranium, diamonds, shale oil, and coal.
- Project generation, evaluation and management.

Expertise
- Broad-based experience in the acquisition, processing and interpretation of electrical, potential field, radiometric, and seismic methods for mineral and coal exploration , including airborne, surface, and borehole applications.
- Project management, including survey planning, contractor selection and supervision, data acquisition, processing and quality control, interpretation, drill targeting and reporting.
- GIS-based integration of geophysical and geological information for improved target delineation.
- An integral member of project teams directly associated with the discovery and evaluation of several significant mineral discoveries, and with the identification and development of procedures for utilisation of geophysical methods to improve the ore evaluation and mining processes.

- Gold and base metal near-mine and regional exploration in the Lachlan Orogen, NSW.
- Coal deposit exploration and evaluation in the Bowen, Clarence-Moreton, and Surat Basins , Queensland , and the Hunter Valley , NSW.
- Near-mine exploration for sulphide-nickel deposits, Brazil .
- Project area and target generation for greenfields mineral deposits in areas of limited basement exposure, central and western Queensland .
- Application of geophysics to environmental problems, NSW and Queensland.

- B.Sc. (Hons.) ( Geology and Geophysics) - University of Sydney .
- Grad. Dip. Science (Mining and Exploration Geology) - James Cook University , North Queensland
- Member ASEG, AIG, AusIMM.
