Here are some examples of our work
for clients.
Over a two year period GD provided
a team to undertake project generation for a range of base
metal styles in the mineral-rich Mount Isa Block for Noranda’s
Australian subsidiary. In addition GD provided comprehensive
project management services to take the targets generated
through to drill testing and evaluation. GD generated a
number of IOCG and Broken Hill Type projects and brokered
several joint venture opportunities to allow for testing
of the targets. A range of these targets is still in the
process of being followed-up by Noranda’s joint venture
partners. GD was selected to undertake this program because
of its members’ demonstrated experience and success
in Mt Isa-area exploration.
GD has assisted Noranda’s Brazilian
subsidiary with evaluating Iron Oxide Copper Gold projects
in the world-class Carajas region as well as copper prospects
in the Sao Francisco Craton of Bahia State. In addition
GD provided input into core logging procedures and undertook
a training initiative for IOCG mineralisation. This evaluation
work is a reflection of GD’s in-house Iron Oxide Copper
Gold expertise.
Mandorin, a Canadian exploration company,
has appointed GD to manage its worldwide diamond exploration
program. GD is responsible for planning, executing and reporting
on the Diamond Search project which uses licensed technology
from the University of Queensland to identify areas with
diamondiferous potential. The selection of GD emphasises
our strengths in program management and demonstrates our
experience in diamond exploration.
